Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: March 30, 2026

Bake & Che strives to make bakeandche.com usable for people with a wide range of abilities— including those who rely on assistive technology, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnification.

Important

No website can truthfully promise "100% ADA compliance" in all situations. The ADA is enforced case-by-case, and accessibility depends on content, browsers, assistive technology, and how pages change over time. What follows is our good-faith effort to follow widely accepted technical standards and to respond when something does not work for you.

Standards we follow

For web content, we align our design and development practices with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (opens in a new tab), and we use Level AA as our organizational target for new and updated experiences. WCAG is referenced globally (including in U.S. federal accessibility rules and many private-sector policies) as a practical benchmark for accessible web content.

Meeting WCAG success criteria in automated checks does not replace testing by people with disabilities or a formal third-party audit. We treat accessibility as continuous work, not a one-time certificate.

Our commitment

We aim for content that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust—including for visitors who use screen readers, speech input, keyboard-only navigation, or browser zoom. We respect reduced motion preferences where our components and styles support it, and we provide visible focus indicators for keyboard users on interactive controls.

Some areas of the site may still fall short of every guideline at every moment (for example, when we add new features or when third-party tools update). When you tell us about a barrier, we prioritize investigating and improving it.

Built-in accessibility tools

You may see an accessibility icon on our site that opens optional tools—for example, text size, contrast, link highlighting, reduced motion, and enhanced focus. These are meant to support individual needs; they do not replace standards-based markup or keyboard access across the page.

Feedback & support

If you have difficulty viewing or navigating our content, or if you believe any part of our site is not fully accessible to people with disabilities, please contact our Customer Service team:

  • Phone(714) 591-5336
  • EmailBakeandche@gmail.com
  • Use the subject line "Disabled Access". Please include the page address (URL), what you were trying to do, and—if you can—your browser and assistive technology (for example, VoiceOver on Safari, or NVDA on Chrome). That helps us reproduce and fix issues faster.

We take this feedback seriously and aim to respond within a reasonable time. We may follow up with clarifying questions or to confirm a fix.

Third-party content

Our site may include maps, embedded media, reviews, ordering tools, or other features provided by third-party vendors. We do not fully control their code or update schedules. We choose partners with care and encourage accessibility-friendly configuration. If a barrier comes from a third-party feature, we will work within our means to address it or find an alternative.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is part of how we maintain the site: keyboard flows, focus management in dialogs, labels for controls, and readable structure are built into our development process. For questions about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
